(3rd period) CER Practice At Home WKST - plant growth
(4th Period) CER for Cheryl's She-Shed - all you need to do is WRITE A GOOD QUALITY CLAIM & write down THREE pieces of evidence to support your claim. Remember, in a commercial, EVIDENCE is ONLY things you SEE or HEAR (observe using your senses). Feel free to watch the commercial multiple times if you need to.

3. We discussed the Learning Targets, essay questions, short answers and did some more of them together as a class. 4. Work Time: Essay Question & Short Answer PREP
5. (didn't get to this) Work Time: Fill out the "related questions" on the back side of your flashcards with your lab partner
Use some of your STUDY STRATEGIES to REVIEW for our test on WED...
1. Read your SCIENCE JOURNAL PAGES from unit 3 on matter
2. Study using UNIT VOCABULARY FLASH CARDS...Fill out the related question on the BACK side of the flashcards. Then, STUDY the flashcards, then ask a family member or friend or classmate (via a Google Meet) to QUIZ YOU on the flashcards! (Give them the flashcards... have them read the definition and see if you can tell them the word AND visa versa. Also, have them ask you the questions on the back side). If you can't answer them, study your flashcards some more and try again.
3. Start to PLAN out your short answer and essay answers on paper

1. Finish MATTER INVESTIGATION: LAB: Conservation of Mass
1. Think Central - Complete the four quizzes in "Things To Do" Unit 13, lessons 1-5 quizzes (due TOMORROW)
2. Make UNIT VOCABULARY FLASH CARDS...On each of the 3 pages, cut the page into fourths (in half each way) that will cut out 4 flash cards.. Then, fold each flash card on the dashed/dotted line. Paper clip the stack together and put them in a ziplock baggie and label it "MATTER VOCAB"....
